Scientists hope that the mission will reveal a great deal about Mars' geological history, but the biggest question they seek to answer: was Mars ever a watery world? And if so, could it have harboured primitive forms of life? This episode tells the story of this incredible NASA mission while investigating the Red Planet's warm, wet past.
